Oasis Transient House for Seafarers

MagCoop will lease the Cortada Property from PKS & Sons under a nine year contract as it continues to provide assistance to the Magsaysay seafarers. The contract of lease was officially signed by MagCoop General Manager Marlon R. Roño and PKS & Sons President Winston Kawsek.  This marked another milestone for MagCoop and the start of a new project for the Magsaysay seafarers - the Oasis Transient House.

Oasis Transient House is a 4-storey building with 21 rooms of varying sizes that offers both bed space and room accommodation to Magsaysay seafarers who are staying in Manila to apply or renew their passports, travel documents and contracts. The aim of setting up Oasis is to reduce the cost of staying in Manila by providing an alternative to hotels. It is also a safe and convenient accommodation for seafarers because of its strategic location that is close to Magsaysay Manila Office.
