Magsaysay Holds Crew and Allottees’ Orientation

Marlon R. Roño, Executive Chairman of MMC, welcomes the Magsaysay crew and allottees in Manila

Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) held a series of Crew and Allottees’ Orientations in Manila, Visayas and Mindanao. These orientations served as one of the company’s ways of meeting and updating the officers, crew members, and allottees about the company’s accomplishments.

Attended by a total of 1,440 crew and allottees, orientations were held last April 8 at Montebello Villa Hotel in Cebu City, April 9 at Grand Menseng Hotel in Davao City, April 22 at Midtown Hotel in Iloilo City, and April 26 at Times Plaza Building in Manila.

Besides the raffle draws and games, the event gave vacationing officers, crew members and their families a chance to bond together, enjoy good fellowship and showcase their talents. Additionally, branch updates, health and financial management talks were also organized to provide awareness to the participants.

The event, which was incorporated with the Magsaysay Multi-Purpose Cooperative’s (MAGCOOP) General Assembly, was spearheaded by Sherwin Pantino, Branch Manager of MMC Cebu; Annaliza Claveria, Branch Manager of MMC Davao; Myra Hingpit, Branch Manager of MMC Western Visayas; Rommel Villasfer, Operations Manager of MAGCOOP; and Marilyn Pacete, Crew and Family Engagement Manager of MMC.
