Philippines to host APEC in November 2015

The Philippines will be hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) from November 17-20, 2015 in Manila. The event aims to bring together business leaders from the APEC’s 21 member economies to identify policy priorities and key concerns of the business sector in achieving closer economic cooperation. Doris Magsaysay Ho, the President and CEO of A. Magsaysay Inc., is the current chair of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC).

In line with this, the Philippine government declared special (non-working) days from November 17-20 for all government offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) and special (non-working) days for the private offices on November 18 & 19 in Metro Manila. Some departing flights and/or arrivals will be cancelled or diverted to other airports since Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will be a no fly zone on November 17, 19 & 20.

During the holidays, the Magsaysay Fleet will continue to monitor all crewing operation as usual.​
